This exceptional Glenfarclas 58 Year Old was distilled in the Speyside region of Scotland in 1956 before being matured in an ex-Sherry butt for over half a century. It was then bottled at cask strength. It increasingly hard to find on today’s marketplace. A truly beautiful whisky that delivers rich, fruity and wholly elegant notes. Comes packaged in a classy wooden case. Only 396 bottles ever produced.
The Glenfarclas distillery can be found in Ballindalloch in the Speyside region of Scotland. It was founded by Robert Hay in 1836 and he operated the distillery until 1865 when it was bought by John Grant. Glenfarclas is relatively unique in the way that it has now been owned and operated by the same family ever since, making it one of the most independent distilleries in Scotland.
